It is with deep sadness that the family of Marilyn Rosenbloom announces her passing on Thursday, May 25, 2017, in Montreal. Cherished wife of Harvey Rosenbloom for sixty-three years. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Susan and Gerry Maldoff, Linda Rosenbloom and Robert Swidler, Gail and Jimmy Garfinkle, Richard and Andrea Rosenbloom. Adored Grandma of David and Ali Maldoff, Matthew and Elyssa Maldoff, Stephanie and Josh Bank; Samantha and Jeremy Shinewald, Ali, Jonathan, and Andrew Cohen; Alex Garfinkle, Lindsay Garfinkle and Jonah Lewis, Amy Garfinkle; Taylor, Ashley and James Rosenbloom. Proud GG of Maya and Margaux Shinewald and Chloe Maldoff. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Seymour Pearl, Sheila Pearl, Joe and the late Cessie Pearl, Reevin and Linda Pearl and the late Evelyn Pearl, Steven and Pam Pearl; and sister-in-law of Helen and Nicki Lang, Marvin Rosenbloom and Jean Reimer and the late Rhoda Rosenbloom, the late Claire and the late Philip Borrow. Marilyn will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, cousins and by all those whose lives she touched. A special thank you to Dr. David Small for his unwavering care and support. Our deepest gratitude to Cora, Dom, Lina, Maggie, and all those who were by her side. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., Montreal, on Sunday, May 28 at 12:00 noon. Burial at the Adath Israel Poale Zedek Anshei Ozeroff Congregation Cemetery, Adath Israel Section, de la Savane. Shiva at 1 Wood Ave., Main Floor Reception room, Westmount, on Sunday and Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., and Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Due to the advent of Shavuot, shiva ends on Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. Family and friends are welcome to visit on Wednesday and Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. As one of the founding members of Alzheimer Group Inc.
