I still remember the afternoon Marion proudly showing me her picture wall and told me the stories, the history and treasures of her memories... little did she know, she created so many memories in my life too, the advice she gave like she'd give to her own children...the info she passed on to me so I could travel and see what she's seen...the little worries and "complaints" towards Don...the sparks in her eyes when she expecting visits of her children or talking about her grandchildren......I always look forward to her visits, it's highlight of the day...I'll miss her as a respectful elder, a friend, a strong individual who lived a lively and eventful life that I admire, I'll cheer for that instead of shedding tears...Salute to you, Marion

Marion will always be in my thoughts, from 55 years of friendship. My go to favourite for nursing and mothering advice. Everyday I see her in the knitted bookmark in my recipe book, the magnetic pin catcher on my sewing machine and the multitude of Mazinaw photos of wonderful weekends we shared. She has left us far to soon, Love Liz Fraser
