NICHOLSON, Marion (nee Horgan)
At Sunnybrook Hospital, in Toronto on Thursday, February 19, 2004 in her 83rd year. Born in St. John, New Brunswick on April 18th, 1921. Long time resident of Valleyfield, Quebec and Toronto, Ontario. Beloved wife of the late Paul Joseph (P.J.) Nicholson. Loving mother of Jay (Vicky), Lee Anne, and Corey (Kathy), and grandmother of Emily, Tara, Bronwen, Alex, and Robin. Predeceased by her parents the late Michael & Ethel Horgan of Saint John, N.B., and her siblings the late Freda Haffey and Major Gerald S. Horgan, Q.C. Dear sister-in-law of Aileen Horgan, Mary Nicholson (the late Leo), Pat and Marlene Nicholson, Tom Nicholson (the late Phyllis), Dan and Nancy Nicholson, Vincent Nicholson, the late Bob and Trish Nicholson, the late Maurice and Alice Nicholson, and the late James J. Haffey (Freda). Lovingly remembered by her many cousins, nephews, and nieces: the Horgans, the Nicholsons, the Whellys, the Desmonds, the Haffeys and the Dolans. Former staff of the University of Toronto Faculty of Education and Loyola College (Concordia University) Montreal. Friends may call at the Morley Bedford Funeral Home, 159 Eglinton Ave. W. (2 stoplights west of Yonge St.) on Friday, February 20th, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass at St. Monica's Church, 44 Broadway Ave. (East of Yonge St.) on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Cremation. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Community Fund of the St. Lawrence Neighbourhood Association, 230 The Esplanade, Toronto, Ontario, M5A 4J6. Our thanks to Dr. Mark Silverman and the staff of D2 Wing at Sunnybrook, as well as the staff of Sprint Medical.
