MARIUS BUJOLD

(1939 – 2025) Ambassador to Tunisia, to Senegal, and Roving Ambassador for Nigeria and Central Africa. Marius died suddenly at home on November 21, 2025. He was deeply loved and will be sorely missed by his wife, Pamela; his daughter, Marthe (Pierre); his son, Philippe (Renée); his grandson, Andrew; his step-granddaughter, Simone; and his step-grandson, Félix. He is fondly remembered by his sisters, Louisette and Marie-Flore; his brother-in-law, Yves-Marie; and his extended Bujold family in Montréal and the Gaspé. His sister-in-law and brother-in-law in Victoria, BC, Catherine Ann and Gérard, have happy memories of good times together. Marius never lost his close interest in world events. He was now enjoying retirement. He loved cycling, particularly with his group of cycling friends. He was an excellent, trained chef and sommelier, a master gardener and fountain of knowledge for the people in his neighborhood. A celebration of life will be held later for family and friends. He will be missed.
