MARJORIE ELIZABETH DIBBLEE (née Karn) With sadness, the family announces the passing of Marjorie on Saturday April, 10, 2021 in her 94th year. Wife of A.C. (Dibb) Dibblee and mother of Jim (Joan-Marie), Lynn (Blair) Roblin, Dave (Sandra Stewart) and Tom (Sharon). Grandmother of fourteen and great-grandmother of six. Predeceased by parents Herbert Christopher Karn and Elizabeth Morrison McCorquodale, and brother Gordon McCorquodale Karn. Marjorie was born in 1927 in Outrement, QC and lived in Edmonton, AB and Burlington, ON. Happy cottager on Lac Manitou, QC and Lake of Bays, ON. A graduate of McGill University in the inaugural Bachelor of Physical Education class, 1948. Marjorie taught in Montreal schools as well as at Branksome Hall in Toronto. Always active, Marjorie loved figure skating, skiing, swimming, Scottish Country Dancing, tennis, curling, canoeing and anything that kept her moving. Avid piano player who loved bridge, knitting, painting and family visits. A friendly, interested, kind and generous person. Cremation and private family afterlife gathering at a later date. Hi Lynn and all the Dibblee family. Please accept our condolences on the passing of your mum. She was always a kind welcoming person and a great neighbour up at Lake of Bays. We will miss her. Sadly my dad Richard died of covid last week. the funeral is online in a few hours, but i wanted to reach out to you folks first.
