I was a classmate of Mark at Queen´s law school. I can attest to his skill as a hockey player as we played together on the law school hockey team. I attach a picture of the team (circa 1978). We were young once!
Mark was a friend to many, a quick wit and had a gregarious spirit. Gone too soon!
My sincere condolences to Kim, his family and many friends and loved ones.

I attended Queen's Law with Mark. Played on the school hockey team with him. He played Centre. Add being a good hockey player to his long list of accomplishments.

Hi Kim,
I had the pleasure of meeting you at a Maple Leaf game one evening. My husband and I came over to say hi to you and Mark.
I worked in HR in the hydro industry and was fortunate to work with Mark who provided us excellent direction on many items. He could always make you laugh and I really enjoyed working with him. He will be missed by many. Please know we are thinking of you and the whole family at this difficult time.

I had the opportunity to know Mark when I worked at the firm during my university years, at a time when he was a senior partner. Even then, what stood out was his generosity of spirit, his humour, and the ease with which he connected with people. He carried himself with a warmth and authenticity that left a lasting impression.
Over time, I came to appreciate the deep respect he commanded among clients and colleagues alike, a reflection of both his professional excellence and the way he treated those around him.
I also remember a more personal connection: my father once completed electrical work at Mark´s home, and Mark and his wife later joined our family for Greek Easter. In our household, that invitation was extended only to those considered part of our chosen family. That memory speaks to the sincerity and goodwill he fostered beyond the workplace.
Mark´s presence was memorable. He gracious, positive, and full of life. The world has truly lost a remarkable man whose impact reached far beyond his profession.
My heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones. May your many memories of him bring comfort and pride in the legacy he leaves behind.

My sincere condolences to Kim and the entire Contini family. I had the pleasure of Mark´s expert counsel over numerous years, as I worked in HR roles for two food manufacturers. Mark was always a steady and guiding presence for our team. He had a great sense of humour, which was always appreciated. He will
be fondly remembered and missed.
