IRISH, Mark Richard
It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the sudden death on Saturday, February 5, 2000 of Mark Richard Irish in Burlington, taken from us too early in his 36th year. Beloved son of Reg and Joan Irish of Burlington, cherished brother of Dr. Jonathan Irish of Toronto and of Jennifer Irish of the Canadian Embassy, Havana, Cuba. Loving uncle of Matthew, Brendan and Elizabeth Irish of Toronto. He was a gentle, loving man who will be in our hearts and minds forever. A memorial service to celebrate Mark's life will be held at St. Luke's Anglican Church, 1370 Elgin Street, Burlington, on Saturday, February 12, 2000 at 11 a.m. Mark's love of music was known to all. In his memory, the family has established the Mark Irish Memorial Fund to be used for music scholarship for the Rotary Burlington Fall Music Festival. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent c/o The Rotary Burlington Fall Music Festival, P.O. Box 91524, Roseland Plaza PO, Burlington, Ontario L7R 4L6, would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
