MARSHALL WORDIE Obituary

(1926-2025) Marshall passed away in his 100th year in Victoria, BC, on December 16, 2025. Marshall was predeceased by his wife, Betty. Together, they enjoyed an active life skiing, golfing, curling, traveling and visiting with their many friends, particularly in the Eastern Townships of Quebec. Born in Calgary, Marshall spent his youth in St. Lambert, Quebec, before finding his calling in the television production industry, working for the CBC and Global Television in both Montreal and Toronto, before retiring to Victoria. Marshall is survived by his sister, Jocelyn Sherman, of Burlington, Ontario, his loving extended family, and his many friends in Victoria. The family thanks them for their assistance to Marshall over the years. A private gathering will be held at a later date to celebrate Marshall's life. Marshall was a dear friend of my husband's - Art Williams - and was best man at our wedding. He was also my daughter's (Judy) godfather. Art passed away in 2006 and Marshall and I have kept in touch.
