March 6, 1965 – September 18, 2024 It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Martin Crisp at the age of 59. He passed peacefully at home with his wife and sister, holding his hand while listening to his favourite music (Chuck Mangione, Feels so good). Loving husband to Glenda for 28 years. Beloved son to Dennis and brother to Brenda (John) MacFadyen. Caring uncle to Laura (Michael) Gfeller, Erin (Colton) Bailey, Connor MacFadyen and Jennifer Stuckless. Cherished son-inlaw to Don Niles and brother-in-law to Chrysta (Paul) Stuckless. Predeceased by his mother Barbara Crisp (nee Luckham) and mother-in-law Deanna Niles (nee Sinclair). Generous, kind, supportive and a helping friend to many. Martin was passionate about all things car. He raced in many forms including solo-1, wheel-to-wheel in the CASC, Radio Control Car Racing, and finally Sim-racing. He truly enjoyed the time he spent with other race/car enthusiasts and was always ready to help or advise others. Retiring early from his technology career, he focused his energy on racing and forming lasting bonds with friends around the world who shared these interests. Martin loved spending time with his wife and family, especially watching his nieces and nephew grow to such kind adults. His absence is deeply and profoundly felt. We will miss him forever. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Martin's life will be held for family and friends to gather and pay their respects on Thursday, October 10th at the Humphrey Funeral Home, 1403 Bayview Avenue, Toronto, ON, M4G 3A8. 12 p.m. – 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Michael Garron Hospital or the
Cancer Society would be sincerely appreciated.
