MARTY SLATER Obituary

On January 23, 2026, at home. Martin Slater, beloved husband of Barbara (Bobbi). Loving father and father-in-law of Aaron and Jocelyn, Daniel and Marie, and Noah Slater and Sara Zippin. Dear brother-in-law of Bryna and Gerry Hyman, Ellen Hoffman and Don Pozner. Devoted Zaida of Jonah, Nicole, Jack, David, Zev, Judah, and Ellie. Caring uncle Mart to Gwen and Andrew, Wendy and Jamie, Karen, Sandra and Bryan, Sam and Amy, Joseph and Becca, and Mike. Caring great-uncle of Abby, Ben, Josh, Julia, Nate, Daniel, Annie, Simon, and Andi. Service was held at Benjamin's Park Memorial Chapel on Sunday, January 25, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Interment in B'nai Abraham Congregation section at Roselawn Cemetery. Shiva at 561 Avenue Road in Toronto. Memorial donations may be made to Temmy Latner Centre for Palliative Care (416-586-8203, www.tlcpc.org).

My fondest childhood memory is spending every summer with Aunt Julia, Uncle Harry and Marty. We had a special bond. So glad we were able to all go to the DR to visit with Allan and Laura. Hoping Marty, Allan and Tom are meeting in heaven. Bobbi, take care of yourself. With love,
