CHARD, Mary Alice
Passed away at the Norfolk General Hospital on Thursday, July 24, 2003. Mrs. Mary Chard (nee Reeves), formerly of 35 Holden Avenue, Simcoe, in her 76th year. Much beloved wife of Russell Chard and loving mother of; Alison and her husband David of Toronto, Gary and his wife Sandra of St. Catharines, Ron and his wife Nancy of Gabriola Island, B.C. and Paul and his wife Rhea of Winnipeg, cherished grandmother of; Jamie, Riley and Bronwyn. Mrs. Chard is also survived by her brother; Ross Reeves and his wife Janice of Oakville, sister; Shirley Reeves of Toronto, sisters-in-law; Ruth Teeter of Kitchener, Royetta Chard of Flesherton and Eydth Chard of Campbellford, numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers-in-law; Gordon and Kendall Chard. Mary was a member of the University Women's Club and the Horticultural Society. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Friday, July 25, 2003 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the FERRIS FUNERAL HOME, 214 Norfolk Street South, Simcoe. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. from TRINITY ANGLICAN CHURCH, corner of Colborne and Lot Streets, Reverend Bryan Robertson officiating, followed by cremation. Those wishing may donate to the Norfolk General Hospital Foundation.
