I had the pleasure of knowing Mary Pat through The Church of Incarnation bridge group. Mary Pat was always a delightful, pleasant person who enjoyed coming to bridge and going for dinner afterwards.
She will be missed by us all. She is in my thoughts and prayers. May she rest in peace.

Mary Pat was my late husband’s Cousin. My husband was Dr Michael Berry, Principal at Canterbury Christ Church College until retirement.
We enjoyed Mary Pat’s visits to our home in Kent and she also came to stay after my Michael had died.
Pat particularly enjoyed attending the Weddings in England of our son, James to Nehali Shah in 2013; and our daughter, Jane to Luke Foord-Kelcey in 2016.
Indeed at our son’s Wedding, Pat was first on the scene when my husband collapsed and rushed to Hospital.
When Pat was first poorly, my daughter wanted her to see their first child, Ottilie, who was two years old at the time. So they travelled to Canada to Pat’s great delight when they visited her in Hospital.
Jane has always had a special place in her heart for Pat.

Mary Pat was my husband’s Cousin.
My husband was Dr Michael Berry, Principal at Canterbury Christ Church College, Canterbury,
I enjoyed Mary Pat’s visits to our home in Kent, England.
Mary Pat had a particularly enjoyable time with us at the weddings of both our son in 2013 to Nehali Shah and our daughter in 2016 to Luke Foord-Kelcey.
Indeed at our son’s wedding she was first to rush to my husband when he collapsed before being rushed to Hospital.
When Pat became poorly our daughter wanted her to see their first child, Ottilie. So Jane, Luke and Ottilie went to Canada to see her in hospital.
Pat was so extremely happy to see them.
We send our condolences to her family.

Pat and I graduated in medicine together almost 60 years ago. Our career paths crossed again as anaesthetists in the UK and anesthesiologists in Canada. Neither of us would have anticipated that we would leave the North East of England to make our homes here. Several years ago, when we met inToronto, we enjoyed reminiscing about our shared history. Thank you for allowing me to think about the past.
