Mary DAVIS Obituary
MARY ELLEN DAVIS September 16, 1939 - August 27, 2022 Mary was born is Kingston, Ontario in 1939 and graduated from McMaster University in 1961. She was a nurse with Victorian Order of Nurses and City of York, Public Health. Mary was predeceased by her parents, Alan and Jean Meiklejohn and her ex-husband, Robert Davis. Beloved mother of Cathy Darlington, Bruce Davis (Renee Logan); grandmother of Christine Darlington, Samantha Smith-Moskal (Kyle Patrick), Haviva Ford and Rebecca Ford. Mary was known for her hospitality and her flair for gardening. In later years, travel informed her love of learning and she connected with people from all walks of life. In 2011, Mary became a resident at The Grenadier, Bloor West Village, making many new friends. Thank you to Drs Toupin and Williams, Kelly Gill, Nurse Practitioner, S.R.T. Med Staff, VHA Home Healthcare and staff at Chartwell Grenadier who provided exemplary care, these past weeks. Also, a big thank you to Dr Simon Davis for support over many years. A Celebration of Life will be held in September. Condolences may be forwarded through turnerporter.ca/memorials.
