Surrounded by the love of her family at University Hospital ICU on Saturday, March 26, 2016, Mary Hontos, nee Agnos of London, Ontario. Daughter of the late William and Despena (Pinio) Agnos. Lovingly remembered by her daughter, Mary Ellen DiFazio and her husband, Steve, of Georgetown. Proud Grandma of Damian and Drake. Sister of Georgia Velos of Toronto, and the late Elizabeth Condos and Dr. John William Agnos. Mary graduated from Victoria Hospital and Western School of Nursing and dedicated her life to nursing at Victoria Hospital for close to 40 years. She enjoyed cottage life at Pt. Stanley and tending to her many flower gardens. For many years, she was a volunteer at Parkwood Hospital where she enjoyed working with the Veterans. She will be fondly remembered for her quick wit, vast knowledge, and the wonderful conversations she could have with anyone. Visitation on Tuesday from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at Harris Funeral Home, 220 St. James at Richmond, London. The funeral service will be conducted at St. Paul's Cathedral, 472 Richmond St. at Queens Ave., London on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Interment Woodland Cemetery. Memorial contributions to Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides would be appreciated.
