MARY-LOU ANDERSON Obituary

(December 29, 1937 – September 29, 2025) Mary-Lou Elizabeth Ainslie Anderson passed away peacefully on September 29, 2025, at Bethell Hospice in Inglewood at the age of 87. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert Allen Anderson, Mary-Lou is survived by her three children: Stephen (Michele), Ian (Nicole), and Kristen (Sean); as well as her cherished grandchildren: Katherine, Julia, and Derek. Mary-Lou began her professional life as a nurse, a calling that reflected her lifelong gift for caring for others. It was in London, Ontario, that she met not only lifelong friends but also the love of her life, Bob. Together, they built a life filled with adventure, launching various business ventures while raising their family with love and resilience. They eventually made their home in Orangeville, Ontario, where they lived for over 40 years. Mary-Lou had a deep love for cooking, gardening, and travel - interests that brought joy both to her and those around her. Her home was always a warm and welcoming place, filled with good food and thoughtful conversation. She will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing her - for her ability to comfort, to truly listen, and to offer unwavering support. In accordance with Mary-Lou's wishes, a private family service will occur following cremation. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Bethell Hospice, or a Charity of Your Choice.

May light perpetual shine on you, my dear friend.
It has been wonderful having you in my life, since September 17, 1956 when we started our first day of nursing school at Victoria Hospital
