Mary MCTAVISH Obituary

McTAVISH, Mary Clair
Peacefully at Markhaven Home, December 14, 2008, one day from her 94th birthday. Beloved wife of Raymond for 64 action packed years, and loving Mother to Fraser, Scott, and Jamie. Proud Nana of Neil (Markham) & Tam,Cali, & Scott (Vancouver). Pre-deceased by brothers Gilbert & Carrol Hele, Daughter-in-law Cindy & granddaughter Jennifer McTavish. A memorial Service is planned for a later date. Our family will be forever grateful to Carrie Zabala for the years of compassion and care that she gave to Mary. Farm life, Horses, Dogs, Flower gardens all played a big part in Mary's life. In 1966 she was part of a Unionville Curling Club Team that won the Woman's Worlds Curling Championship then in it's sixth year as an Invitational event. It was a source of pride for the rest of her life. Donations, if desired, may be made to Markhaven Home, or the charity of choice.
