MARY REBECCA ROSS (Becky) Becky passed away peacefully, at Atria Park of Lafayette in Lafayette, California on September 22, 2021, at the age of 68. Sadly she died at such an early age from the ravages of Early-onset Alzheimer's disease. Becky was born on August 26, 1953 to Sam and Midge Ross in Dundas, Ontario, the youngest of 4 children. She will be missed by her sisters and their families, Marjorie (Don Rogers) and Judy (George Craig); her sister-in- law, Patricia Ross; and her many nieces and nephews. They always loved when their glamorous Aunt Becky came for a visit. Becky was predeceased by her older brother, Andy. Becky lived her life as she wanted. She travelled west in her 20s and made her life on the West Coast, first in Vancouver and then in San Francisco. Becky had many careers - Bank Teller, Waitress, Restaurant Owner, Jazzercise Instructor, and finally as an Architect, the career she truly loved and excelled at. She was the first female to be named a partner at her architectural firm. She loved her dogs, of which there were many over the years. They were her constant loyal companions and brought her true happiness. Her other passion was tending to her gardens. And they were all beautiful. Becky was a much loved daughter, sister, aunt, a true friend to many, a successful architect and a mentor to many aspiring young architects. We will miss her very much, but we are happy that she is now at peace. Rebecca wished to have her ashes spread at the family farm where she spent many happy vacations with family and which she loved very much. We will have a family service there at a later date.
