Maureen CALLAHAN Obituary

MAUREEN FRANCIS CALLAHAN (Née Dalglish) 1924 -2022 It is with sadness the family announces the peaceful passing of our dear mother Maureen. She was the pillar of our family. Memories of family gatherings, embellished by exquisite cuisine and music playing in the background are a gift her family will treasure forever.
Maureen will be sadly missed by her children, Brian (Barbara), Tom (Sandra), Stephen (Julie), David (Debbie), Kristen (Mark), and many grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.
Her passion for art, music, history and current affairs enriched us all. She was a dedicated volunteer for many years at the ROM and member of the Bishop White Committee. She was also the founding president of the volunteer committee at the Gardiner Museum.
Maureen is predeceased by her sister Brenda Dalglish, brothers Bill Dalglish, Murray Dalglish and her husband Dr. Bill Callahan.
A funeral mass at Holy Rosary Church, 354 St. Clair Ave. W, will be held on May 27 at 10 AM followed by a burial at Mount Pleasant cemetery.
