MAUREEN SALTMAN It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden death of our treasure, Maureen Saltman - daughter, wife, and mother extraordinaire - on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at Toronto General Hospital, in her 77th year. Maureen is survived by her devoted husband and lifelong soulmate, Lorne Saltman, and her adoring and adored daughter and son-in-law, Alexandra Saltman and J.P. Rasminsky. She is affectionately remembered by her chosen sister, Elaine Akler, and more admiring friends and family than she ever realized. Maureen was predeceased by her parents, Sylvia and James Kleiman, to whose loving care she devoted much of her adult life. To all who knew her, she was larger than life; she filled the room with her humour, her kindness, and her sparkle. She had perfected the art of listening, and of making each person she spoke to feel that they were respected and that their problems truly mattered. She was a meticulous and brilliant Labour Arbitrator, whose career spanned four decades, but, most of all, she was a faithful and unfailing daughter, mother, wife, and friend. We were privileged to have known her radiant glow. The service was held graveside on Friday, April 14, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at the Holy Blossom Section Shalom Cemetery, 10953 Dufferin St. (north of Major MacKenzie), and Shiva will be held on Friday afternoon, April 14, after the service; Sunday afternoon, April 16, 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and evening, 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.; Monday afternoon, April 17, 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and evening, 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Please contact
