MICHAEL HENRY BROAD

(September 27, 1950 – November 24, 2025) It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael, at home on November 24, 2025. As in life, Mike was surrounded by his loving wife, Janice, his soulmate of 50+ years, and his three adoring daughters. Beloved father of Karen (Patrick), Katie (Pat), Lauren (Alex), and cherished grandfather and friend to Charlotte, Peter, Jack, Elliott, Charlie and Michael, a legacy of which he was so proud. He is survived by siblings Debbie (Jim), Susan, Kathy (Iain) and Ken (Michele), Debbie and Rob Havill, along with many nieces and nephews. Mike's sense of humour, unmistakable laugh and warm heart drew people to him, fostering countless lifelong friendships. Known for his exceptional work ethic, honesty and integrity, he was recognized as a pillar in his community and as a leader in the shipping industry. An avid golfer, Mike loved to spend time with his many friends at RMGC over the years. A service will be held in his honour on Friday, December 5, 2025, at Belvedere Cemetery & Funeral Complex, 22025 Trans-Canada Highway, Senneville, Quebec. Visitation from 1 – 3 p.m. Service at 3 p.m., with reception to follow Our family would like to thank Dr. Esfahani at JGH, staff at NOVA, and the local CLSC for the exceptional care they provided.
