MICHAEL FALLON Obituary

It is with deep sadness, that we announce the passing of Michael Francis Fallon, on September 27, 2024, at the age of 95. Beloved husband of Joyce (nee Stratford) for 68 years, he was a devoted father to Jo-Ann (Michael) and Jennifer (Dan), and a cherished grandpa to Justin, Wyeth (Olivia), Stefan, Marcus, and Emma. He will be deeply missed by his sister, Sister Anne Fallon, and his nieces and nephew. Born in Kingston, Ontario, on September 14, 1929, Michael had a distinguished 45-year career with TD Bank, rising from the mail room to senior management in Human Resources. Michael's legacy of kindness, humour and love will be carried forward by his family, the cornerstone of his life. His big heart touched many and his memory will forever be a source of warmth and love for those fortunate enough to have known him. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, October 17, at 11 a.m., at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, Etobicoke. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Diabetes Canada. Dear Joyce & family,
Sandy & I were so saddened to learn of Mike´s passing. He and I had so many lunches together at the Bank since 1970 followed by our walks up to Eatons. Sandy still talks about meeting at your cottage near Gananoque on one of our trips home from New York. And I will never forget our annual Xmas phone calls where we quickly solved all the problems of the world and heartily joked about our Banking days.
The news is sad but the memories are lasting and Sandy & I send our sincere condolences to you and your family.
