McFADDEN, Michael C. Jr.
Of Fox Chapel, (formerly of Bernardsville, N.J.) on Thursday, May 18, 2000, at age 73. Loving husband of Bonita P. McFadden and the late Judith Frost McFadden. Devoted father of Michael C. McFadden III of Geneva, Switzerland, Margaret M. McFadden of Anchorage, Alaska, Mary Catherine McFadden of Park City, Utah and Eileen M. Esposito of Westerly, Rhode Island. Proud grandfather to Nicolas, Reid, Rowan and Piper. Born in Bethlehem, PA to Michael and Wanda McFadden. Mike graduated from Notre Dame in 1947. He served as a Lieutenant JG in the U.S. Navy from 1947 to 1953 and remained an active member of the U.S. Naval Reserve until 1961. He was a Metallurgist and Vice President of Sales for International Nickel Company, where he worked for 32 years until his retirement in 1990. He was a member of Oakmont Country Club and the Duquesne Club, he was also a life time member of the AllAround-Good-guys-Club, of which he was Chairman of the Board. He was an avid golfer, traveler, sailor, reader, fisherman and a good friend. Funeral arrangements were private. The family respectfully suggests that memorial contributions be made in Mike's name to the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute, 3471 5th Avenue, Suite 802, Pittsburgh, PA 15213.
