Thinking of Micheal today and grateful for his understanding of the role the Anglican Church played in the lives of the Indigenous people in Canada. We met on the 15th anniversary of his heartfelt apology and I learned a lot on that day! He used the General Synod Archives often and supported the work in many ways. He will be missed! N

As a member of St. Thomas in the 60s, I have wonderful memories of Michael's leadership there of AYPA as curate as well as his contribution as chaplain at Carleton University when I was a student. My deepest sympathies to all his family.

The Church was most fortunate to have Michael as a priest and leader and it was our privilege to have known him.
As a young curate in Ottawa he was terrific at getting us involved with what was happening beyond our borders. I walked my first peace march with Michael. His intellect, facility for languages including Russian was amazing and then how smart was he to marry a favourite camp counsellor.
Dorothy, our most sincere condolences to you and your family. Ellen and Tom Robinson
