MICHELE SIMONETTA It is with great sadness the family of Michele Simonetta announce his sudden passing on August 6, 2008. Michele died peacefully in his 82nd year. He was happily married to his loving wife Teresa for over 57 years and she will miss him deeply. Beloved father of Mary Ann (Bill), Bruna (Ter ry ) and Michael (Lucia). Adored Nonno of Steven, Va nessa, Danny, Lisa, Derek, Michael Anthony and Annalisa. Michele left his home in Italy as a young family man to seek a better life in Canada. He devoted himself to providing the best opportunities for his children and successfully realized many of his dreams. Although he returned to Italy for visits, he found the happiness he sought in Canada, sur rounde d by his childr en, grandchildren, brothers, extended relatives and the many friends he made. His social network extended to the many people he knew during his career in the Toronto Real Estate Board and the Serra San Bruno Association. He is resting at the Ward Funeral Home, Woodbridge Chapel, 4671 Islington Avenue, with visitation from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Friday, August 8, 2008. The funeral service will be held at St. Roch's Church, on Islington (north of Finch), at 9 a.m. on Saturday mor ning with inter ment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery on Jane Street (north of Steeles). Donations, in lieu of flowers, can be made to a charity of your choice.
