Mitchell Fenton March 16, 1946 - March 2, 2014 Mitch died unexpectedly, just before his 68th birthday, from a lung disorder that developed after hip replacement surgery in late September. He remained positive through his ordeal but finally his body could no longer fight the battle. Mitch's death was a shock to everyone because he was fit, active and youthful. Mitch was born in Montreal. He was the cherished husband of Shirley Roberts, Bath Ontario, and dear brother and friend of Gail Fenton, Ottawa, and James Fenton (deceased). He spent his working life in Toronto and was a well-respected entrepreneur, culminating his career as President of Toronto Trade Printers. He was an avid bridge player, golfer, and gardener at his beloved cottage in the Laurentians. Mitch will be lovingly remembered by his family and loyal friends for his kindness, generosity, charming sense of humour, intellect and gentle manner. A celebration of Mitch's life will be held at James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 Joun Counter Boulevard, Kingston, Saturday May 10, 2 - 4 pm, with words of remembrance at 3 pm. Messages of condolence can be made at
www.jamesreidfuneralhome.com. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mitch's memory to Kingston General Hospital would be appreciated, at
www.uhkf.ca or 1-866-549-5452. The KGH medical staff's compassion and steadfast efforts to help Mitch were exceptional.
