Peacefully on Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at Sunnybrook Hospital, surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of Frances and the late Vivien Sherkin. Dear father and father-in-law of Kel and Carole Sherkin, Barbara and Joe Pasternak, Suzie Sherkin, Wayne Rodness, Lisa Shirriff, Andrea and Kevin Desforges, and the late Howard Sherkin and David Rodness. Devoted grandfather of 13 and great-grandfather of four. Dear brother of Husky Sherkin, and the late Sam, Lou, Harry, Joe, and Ben Sherkin. Special thanks to Sunnybrook Veterans LSSW Wing for their terrific care, particularly Val, Christine, Helen, and the entire staff.
