Nan and Robin were close to my folks, John and Vi Torrance for many years. Robin, as a member of the clergy and friend of my parents was always an encourager, as was Nan. Nan and I reconnected prior to a Merivale High School reunion a few years back, then unfortunately lost touch. Her keen sense of humour was still so evident in those emails. Rest in Peace Nan....see you again some day.

RIP Nan, you where a lovely woman. I was your hairstylist for years, until you moved away.We still email each other to stay connected. You were a special person in my life and I will never forget you! You will always have a special place in my heart.

I was a close friend to her dear daughter Lesley. I visited Nan in Ottawa and she visited me in my home in Waterloo. We got in touch via email and snail mail a few times, but then I lost touch with her since a bit after her son died. I have special memories of Nan - she was thoughtful, intelligent, a great conversationalist, and missed her adult children so much. I will try to attend the memorial; I live in the U.S. now.
