We have a lot of wonderful memories in the last 40 some years. She knew when she married a hungarian she will also marry into a different culture and history. She truly embraced it and I was always sure she understood every hungarian word. Our husbands were best friends from early childhood. We named our children after each other. We are glad we could see her in her last few weeks and could say good by.She lives on in her children and grandchildren.

Nancy was a lovely human being, of course, known as Mrs DebreceniI to us kids. I have such fond memories of Nancy and the Debreceni family together with our family celebrating New Years Eve for many years. A tradition which continued with our parents for decades. Our deepest condolences. My mother, UTA, cherished her relationship with Nancy, especially the shared passion for hiking . Frank loved `The Debs´ and all their time spent together. Warmest wishes, Thomas and the Karman Family.

So sad to read Nancy´s obituary in todays Globe. We attended French conversation classes together at Sheridan College years ago. She was The Real Deal, a lovely person.
