EDELL (Norton), Nancy
Born in Omaha, Nebraska, November 12, 1942, died at home in Bayswater ,Nova Scotia, on the evening of Thursday, June 9, 2005. She was the daughter of the late Helen and Clayton Norton. She is survived by husband Peter Walker; son, Gabriel Edell; daughter-in-law Sarah, granddaughter, Hyacinth; sister, Jan Weidenhammer and nieces Molly and Nina; stepson, Jesse Walker, and an aunt and cousins. She will be deeply mourned by her family, friends and the art community to which she so greatly contributed. Her humour, generosity and vibrancy cannot be replaced. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, Hubbards. A celebration of Nancy's life will take place at 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 14, at North Street Church, Halifax, 5657 North Street (corner of Fuller Terrace). In keeping with the spirit of Nancy's life, she will be celebrated with shared memories, drumming, good food and drink.
