Nick was a wonderful, genuine and compassionate man. I was lucky to get to know him over the past 2 years as one of his 'vision mates' at CNIB. I am heartbroken to hear of his passing. Sending my love and support to Nick's family during this trying time.

I just heard of the passing of Nicholas and was so shocked and sadden by his passing as we recently spoke at the start of all this Covid craziness. I met Nicholas some five years ago as a job developer at SCI Ontario, a community organization that assist people with disabilities access social services. He was exploring job opportunities and I worked with him. I got to know him fairly well and I learnt so much from his about the film industry. He was kind enough to meet with my daughter recently graduated from Ryerson university, a couple years ago. He shared with her her pointers about the film/movie industry and career options. I will miss him so much and to his family and relatives my deepest condolences

Nick, sit out the rest of this battle. You've taught us all we need to carry on courage, determination, patience, loyalty, humility, humour, love and your indomitable spirit. Dorigen, Araby, Felix and all the family, my tears flow for you sad tears but sweet. Remember in this tender time that you'll always have Nick.

Well Nick, my prayer is that any and all pain and suffering are over for you!

Here's but one memory of a man (my cousin) who, to me was always his own man. I'm looking at Christmas Cards on his mantel one Christmas family gathering years ago and I recognize most of the names on the cards, except one. So I say Nick, there's a card hear from someone, and I don't know who it is. It's signed Mick. Who's it from? And he looks over at me, from across the room, with a fairly disinterested look and says, Jagger.

Peace my brother.

Nick was a terrific and generous friend of the Film Studies program at Queen's, from which he graduated. When he returned, he spoke with current students from experience, and with enthusiasm and encouragement. Thank you, Nick.
