NICOLAS PASIC (1918 – 2015) Nicolas Pasic, grandson of the late Prime Minister of Serbia Nikola Pashitch, passed away peacefully at Belmont House on Friday, January 9th, in his 96th year. Special thanks to Noemi, all his caregivers and doctors for their love and attention.
Nicolas Pashitch (Nicky) was born in Paris, France on the 26th November, 1918, to Radomir and Bebecca. Nicky and Choupie grew up in Paris, Belgrade and England before immigrating to Toronto, Canada in 1955. Nicky read Law at Brasenose College, Oxford and became a solicitor at Slaughter and May, in London. His last working years were with the Ontario Public Trustee. However, his commitment to accurately documenting Serbian political and historical events, as well as bringing the story of his grandfather to life for the interested public was a life-time passion.
