Niels Jens Kjeldsen
August 12, 1944 - January 29, 2016

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband and father, after a short battle with cancer. He leaves behind his wife of 44 years, Yvonne; and children, Oliver, Kristine and Karine (Frank); and granddaughter, Scarlett; as well as his sister, Lisbeth (Marty); and nieces, Maia and Teia; sisters-in-law, Maria and Ida; nephew, Rouven; and cousins Ole and Jytte and their families. Niels will be remembered as a devoted husband, caring father and great friend to many. He had a 50 year career in Canada and abroad as a chef at many of the leading hotels in the country and served as mentor to many in the culinary industry. He will be greatly missed.
  There will be a service held on Thursday, February 4th at 2:00 p.m. at Vaughan Estate at the Estates of Sunnybrook, 2075 Bayview Avenue in Toronto, M4N 3M5.
