NIKOLA ZORICIC Passed away after a crash during a World Cup ski cross race in Switzerland on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at the age of 29. While Nik has left us before his time, his charm and fun-loving spirit lives on in all he came into contact with. Nik was born in Sarajevo and came to Canada with his family at age 5. He spent many years skiing for his country, inspiring young athletes, and prioritizing family and friends above all else. A strong companion to his sister Katarina, devoted son to mother Silvia, father Bebe, and grandparents Sonia, Hinko, Rada, and Branko, aunts Amela and Nada, uncles Robert and Mico, cousins Tara, Una, and Jana. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas St. W. (between Kipling and Islington Aves.), on Saturday and Sunday from 4 - 9 p.m. Funeral Service to be held at Islington United Church, 25 Burnhamthorpe Rd., on Monday, March 19, 2012 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers tax deductible donations can be made through Alpine Canada
