Nirmal P. GARG

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Nirmal P. Garg, a loving wife, mother and grandmother, on June 20, 2024, at the age of 79. She passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family. Nirmal was born to Krishna and Shanti Gupta, and is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years, Dr. Mohan Garg. Together, they had a life filled with adventure, living in India, US, Canada and Brazil, before settling in Markham, Ontario. She will be deeply missed by her children, Anurag, Alpana and Abhinav; and her grandchildren, Anika, Niva, Arnesh, Rohan, Roma and Anais. She was a caring mother-in-law to Archana, Karuna and Germán. Nirmal's legacy is one of kindness, compassion, and devotion to her family. Her love of cooking, music and art, inspired all who knew her, and her selflessness extended beyond her family to the many people she had contact with as a librarian and educator. She will be remembered for her big smile, playful nature and zest for life.
