NOEL FRANCES RUTH HEIT

(nee Friday) Peacefully, on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Sunnybrook Hospital. She was born December 25, 1932, in Thunder Bay, Ontario (then Port Arthur) to William John and Margaret Mary Friday (nee Lynch). She was the last of eight children: Winston, Russel, Jack, Rosemary (died in infancy), Teresa, Monica, and Ann. She was predeceased by her husband, Louis Cluthe Heit, in 2005; and is survived by her five children, Joseph (Nancy), Andrew, Sally, Matthew, and Ann Marie. Lovingly remembered by five grandchildren, Scott, Glen (Kayla), Rebecca, Elise, and Nicholas; and great-grandchildren, Juniper and Hester. Noel graduated from St. Joseph's School of Nursing, Port Arthur, in 1954, and University of Toronto School of Nursing Administration in 1956. In memory of Noel: donations to Operation Smile. Noel loved her nieces and nephews and they greatly enriched her life. Visitation will take place at the Mount Pleasant Funeral Centre, 375 Mount Pleasant Rd., Toronto, M4T 2V8, on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Service on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at 10 a.m. Private interment at a later date.
