Norman Richard COLLINSON

NORMAN RICHARD COLLINSON; P.Eng. May 1, 1921 to January 31, 2013 Norman passed away peacefully at the Sunnybrook Veteran Centre in Toronto. He was born in Willowbrook, Saskatchewan and moved with his family in the 30's to an experimental farm in Windermere, B. C. After enlisting in the air force to support the WWII effort he returned to complete his mechanical engineering degree at U.B. C. He moved to Toronto for his first job and then to Burlington where he ultimately established his own engineering business. A devoted and loving husband of 59 years to Eileen (deceased 2004). Treasured father of Deane and his wife Judy and Debi Carser and her husband John. Beloved Gramps to Laura, Brian and David and 'Grampsie' to Jonathan and Joshua. The visitation will take place from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 3 and the funeral will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 4, both at Marshall Funeral Home located at 10366 Yonge Street (north of Major Mackenzie Dr), in Richmond Hill, ON. A huge thank you to the wonderful staff at the Sunnybrook Veteran's Centre LGSW for their loving care and dedication.
