I am very sad to find out that Norman had passed away. Norman and I met and became friends, way back in 1975. Although I moved away in '82, we stayed in touch all these years. We would get together whenever I visited Toronto, and once when Norman visited California. Otherwise, we would catch up by phone three or four times a year. I will always be thankful for his friendship and his wonderful gregarious and positive personality. My condolences to Luc and Norman's friends and family.

I just found out about Norm's passing. Norm was one of my first clients and became a good friend. We recommended him for clients buying and selling businesses. Unfortunately we lost touch since we moved from the GTA a few years back and only found out of his passing through recommending him again to a client. Norm was a great person and kind soul and will be dearly missed.

Very sad, I knew Norm going back to the early sixties as his family were customers on one of my newspaper delivery routes and later in high school where Norm was captain of the swim team. He was a gentle peaceful soul who will be missed by all who knew him.

Dear Luc, Dale and I are saddened to read of Norman's passing. We wondered how Norman was doing and sent an email a few days ago but did not hear back. So I did a search and came across his obituary. We are so sorry for your loss. We really enjoyed meeting you both in Cuba. Sending you some hugs from us both.

I knew of Norman and his presence for decades before we actually met just a few years ago. He is not someone that can go unnoticed. He touched so many people in so many ways, and his presence will continue in the hearts and minds of those he touched. Rest in peace Norman!

Dear Luc,
We have fond memories of the beautiful wedding ceremony when you became Norm's husband. We have always enjoyed meeting up with you two at that Asian restaurant where we had fun eating and chatting with each other. We miss Norm's jokes already. Au revoir Luc.

So sorry for your loss. Norm was a lovely man whom I knew for many years through my sister Dianne Parnell. My children still remember fondly white water rafting with him many years ago.

Norm, I will always remember you for being super fun and competitive on the volley ball court and off the court as a kind social and generous soul. You were such a large presence in life and certain you are in heaven.

Dear, dear, Norman. I just heard of his untimely death and am reeling from the sad news. He was such a sweet man - smart, witty, charismatic and charming and such a good friend, to all.

He always greeted me with a kiss and 'hello gorgeous' and I always responded with - 'sure', you say that to all the women'. We got such a chuckle out of it.

I am grateful he was a part of my life - Indrani

I was looking for a real estate agent to recommend to a friend and thought of Norm. Hadn't seen him in years, but always liked him. We went to jr. high school, high school and Camp New Moon together. Needless to say, finding Norm in the obits was the last place I would have looked for him! He was someone I always saw as full of life. This is a sad and shocking loss for the world. Norm was a good person and I am sure he will be sorely missed. Our condolences to his family.

Norman and I played bridge together. He was the first person I met at the Bridge Club...he introduced me to most of the members. He used to drive me to the Club and a frequent question was, Do you think there is an afterlife?" It was something I couldn´t answer, but when I think of Norman now the one thing I do know is that there is for him an `Afterlife,´ because who could ever forget this wonderful generous soul. He will always be in
our memories. Will miss you forever Norman! Condolences to Luc, and his loving family. Thinking of you all.

Norman loved bridge and those who played with or against him. He had an oversized character and used it to endear and encourage others. We will feel his absence for a long time.
