GALLAGHER, Olive (nee Flowers)
Passed away October 4, 2001 after a lengthy illness. Olive Gallagher, born December 22, 1922, in Durham, England. Predeceased by her husband Gerry Gallagher and survived by her children Deirdre (Eric), Sheila (David), Maureen (Dolores), Cathy (Hughie) and Michael (Dorcas) and grandchildren Gerry, Nadia, Jim, David, Liam, Bre-Ann and Nathan and great-grandson Dylan. Olive was a Veteran of WWII, having served in the Women's Auxillary Air Force and a recipient of a Medal of Valour. She was an active member of the Mississauga Seniors Centre and a volunteer. A heartfelt thanks from the family goes to the incredible floor B nursing staff at Trillium Hospital for their compassion and support. Olive will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter ;Peel; Chapel, 2180 Hurontario Street, Mississauga, (Hwy. 10 north of Q.E.W.), from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday. Funeral Service in the chapel on Monday, October 8th at 1 o'clock.
