PAMELA CANHAM Obituary

Pamela Winifred Canham, aged 90, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones on December 18, 2024. Predeceased by husband, Brian Charles Canham (1997); and grandson, David Sean Canham (2009). Pam is survived by her six sons, Patrick (Tina), David (Leslie), Andy (Lisa) Brian (Darlene), Terry (Tracey) and Paul (Lori); along with brother-in-law, Bernard (Val); sister-in-law, Pam Canham; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews (adopted or otherwise) all over the world. Born in Wales in 1934, Pam moved to Canada and lived a vibrant life filled with adventure, style, and laughter. A passionate traveller, Pam visited countless countries, eagerly embracing new experiences. Pam was also known for her impeccable fashion sense, she always dressed with a flair that reflected her vibrant personality; her hats were legendary. Pam had an innate ability to light up the room, captivating everyone with her warmth and grace. Pam had many close friends whose friendship meant the world to her. Mom, we were all so wonderfully blessed to have you in our lives and share in your grace. While we are heartbroken that you had to leave us, we are comforted in the knowledge that you have now found peace. Until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand. A private funeral will be held on December 21, 2024. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to your charity of choice, ensuring that Pam's spirit continues to inspire and assist future generations.

Mrs. Canham, as I always knew her, was always a positive and kind voice in the office at Neil McNeil. I also had the pleasure of spending time with Andy at the family home on Rowatson during my high school years and seeing her as a mother to the Canham boys. Our condolences to Andy and the Canham and Farquharson families on the loss of such a great lady, one who had such a profound influence on the many lives she touched. She will be missed.

Pam was the light of everything she touched in this life.
I have many fond memories of Pam throughout my career as a teacher at Neil McNeil.
She was a social butterfly . I remember her annual trips to Niagara with our secretaries. Sharon & I were staying in Niagara on the Lake and were invited to join them for Happy Hour. It was a wonderful visit and a bar that I had never seen before.
She will be missed by many friends but especially by her family.
She is in a good place now

Have just learned of the passing of Pamela Canham. Pam was a major force in the running of Neil McNeil High School. She was always so positive, efficient and cheerful. She did wonderful work in the guidance office and as secretary to the principal. Condolences to her sons, all of whom I was happy to know, and to their families. The Spiritan community here in Scarborough will hold her in our thoughts and in our prayers.

What a great lady dear Mrs. Canham was! Our dear mother Anne O´Callaghan held her in high regard and looked forward to getting together with her and the Guildwood ladies for lunch or cards. One of my fond childhood memories of her was when we lived three doors down on Rowatson Rd and seeing her fly out the front door! What a fantastic runner she was! I guess that came with having six sons! Sending our heart felt sympathy and prayers to the Canham family. With fondest regards & memories from Patricia O´Callaghan & family

The official end of a family era. Too many great memories. Parties and stay overs at 23 Rowatson, drives home in her green Toyota after school at Neil, 70th, 75th, etc.. birthday parties at St. Joseph's, Cardiff FA Cup trip to London to name just a few. Pam loved a good party. My best wishes and condolences to the Canham boys (Paul, Terry, Brian, Andy, Dave & Paddy) for your loss. She's with your Dad now and the rest of the clan. They've been waiting patiently for her.
