PATRICIA DINNER Obituary
(nee Kuhr) (April 6, 1939, Montreal - March 26, 2025, Toronto) Beloved mother of Laura Dinner (Richard Rooney); and devoted grandmother of William and Trish Rooney, whom she adored and helped to raise. Mourned by brothers, Tony, Jim (Connie) and John (Pat); and her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by husband, Bruce Dinner; and her deeply missed sisters-in-law, Mary, Evelyn and Vera. She was small in stature but huge in love, comfort, care, and humour. She was a true Montrealer, which means she hated winter but only talked about it if you brought it up first. She made friends everywhere she went and was a special kind of dog whisperer. Several of her best furry friends anxiously awaited her arrival in Heaven. Deepest gratitude to the wonderful staff at Sunnybrook Hospital for expert and compassionate care. Memorial gifts may be directed to the Scott Mission or your local Humane Society. A gathering will be held at Mount Pleasant Funeral Centre (375 Mount Pleasant Rd.) on Sunday, April 6th, 1-3 p.m.
