Lonnie Odell Yarbrough, age 76, of Dardanelle, passed away Thursday, September 11, 2025, at his home.
He was born April 4, 1949, in Paris, Arkansas to the late Fonnie Lee Yarbrough and Jessie Lee Parker Yarbrough. He attended the Russellville First Assembly of God Church. Lonnie was hardworking and always provided for his family. He worked 15 years at Dow Chemical and retired from Mahle in 2013. He was calm and kind – never saying a harsh word to anyone. He was a die hard chevy and Nascar fan, and an avid collector of die-cast cars. He enjoyed spending time with his sons and building homemade dune buggies and hot rods. He was always smiling, positive, and liked joking around. He loved spending time with his family during family gatherings, and his pockets always had peppermints for his grandchildren. He leaves a wonderful legacy of how to be a Godly husband and how we should treat others. He was preceded in death by his parents.
