1936 - 2024

PATRICIA WAUGH Patricia Waugh died peacefully, on January 27, 2024, with her daughter at her side. Patricia was born in Liverpool in 1936, and met her husband, James, while riding the dodgem cars at New Brighton in Merseyside. James was the love of her life although she lost him in 2006. Patricia and James immigrated to Canada in 1958 and became patriotic Canadians, avid country dancers, hosts of numerous happy soirees, and volunteers at endless girl guide and scouting events as well as Carassauga. Patricia was a gentle listener who loved to read stories to her grandchildren when they were young, and often laughed until she cried. Andrew, their beloved son, died in 2019 and will always be greatly missed. Patricia is survived by grandchildren, Christopher, Philip, David and Isabel; her daughter, Jane; and her son- in-law, John. Patricia leaves behind treasured memories and countless acts of kindness. Mum, you were a trooper in the face of many trials. Goodnight, God Bless. A small gathering will be held at the Yorke Chapel of Turner and Porter on February 11th from 3 - 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society or a Charity of Your Choice.
