Patrick LANIGAN Obituary



LANIGAN, Patrick (;Paddy) Joseph (born May 15, 1935)
Passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2001 at the age of 66. Pat passed away after a long fight against the complications of diabetes. Pat was the loving and devoted husband of Marie Lanigan (nee McNamara). Pat and Marie were the founders and spirit of Rotherglen Schools. Pat is survived by Marie and their six children; Mark, Michele, Colm, Rose, Eileen and Patrick, and seven grandchildren; Elliot, Mapem Rose, John, Liam, Julia Rose, Carter and Holly and his sisters Kay, Tessie and Patty. Pat will be remembered for his ever present smile, firm handshake, generosity, thoughtfulness and graceful humility. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter ;Peel; Chapel, 2180 Hurontario Street, Mississauga, (Hwy. 10 north of Q.E.W.), from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Sunday, November 11, 2001 and from 7-9 p.m. on Monday, November 12th. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 13th at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 3055 Bloor Street West, Toronto (west of Royal York Road, south side of Bloor). Memorial donations may be made to the Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
