The family announces with sorrow his death at the Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto on Monday, October 29, 2001 at the age of 51 years. Beloved husband of Lynda Coad (nee Speedie). Father of Lindsey Coad of Timmins. Brother of John Coad (Ruth) of Gravenhurst. Son of Myrtle Coad of Gravenhurst and the late Sam Coad. He was predeceased by his sister Carolyn Doige. Brother-in-law of Bob Doige of Washago. He is survived by many nieces and nephews. His colleagues in mining and exploration will remember his dedication and insight into the geology of the Porcupine Camp. His family and friends will remember his gentleness and strength, respect and love of life. Lynda and Lindsey will remember his enduring courage and love of life.
