Gary, Nancy & Carolyn,
We (the Olds family) were so saddened to (belatedly) learn of Paul's death today (Sept 24, 2024). We knew you all from growing up in Thistletown, attending St Andrews, and Camp Artaban. Paul was like an honorary brother to us as he stayed with us for a couple of summers while working with my brother Kevin.
Covid was a very hard time to have a funeral, otherwise if we had known about it, I am sure many of my siblings, and mom, would have attended. The last time I corresponded with Paul was to notify him of my sister Vicki's funeral in Sept 2021. I guess this explains why he did not get the invite to mom's 95th birthday celebration in March of this year. I just assumed he had retired and so never got the email.
Our sincerest condolences. We will always remember him fondly.

Ellie, Sam & Nate, We are so saddened to hear of Paul´s sudden passing. He was Such a gentle soul and wonderful father. I will never forget watching a Cups´ match with him, Sam and Nate were playing together. Unlike most parents watching their kids play something, Paul was calm and pleased to be watching - not playing, not coaching, not directing or correcting. He was very proud of you boys, always, and it showed every time he was around you both. I enjoyed both his sense of humour and his support of kids and common sense when it came to anything STC:) He will be missed, hope all of you will be ok. xoxox Lee, Jan and Myers family

Dear Ellie, Sam and Nathan, We were so sad to hear of Paul´s death. He was such a lovely, gentle bear of a guy. I enjoyed playing with him in parent/child events at the tennis club. He was a true gentleman.
