Marcia, what wonderful memories we both have of the wondrous Christmas parties you and Paul hosted at your Lytton Boulevard home for many, many years. The candles in paper bags along the pathway to your front door were most welcoming, as were you and Paul. On entering your home, there was often a log fire burning in the hearth. We remember you playing your Grand Piano accompanied by some friends playing musical instruments and others of us happily singing carols. This was always followed by a sumptuous meal and vibrant conversation.
Thanks for the memories.

Marcia, I am so very sorry to learn of Paul's passing. I will forever cherish all the hilarious memories at all of our family reunions. Paul was without a doubt the life of the party and so much fun!! We laughed so much together, he was always cracking me up about something. I still remember all the fun we had at your wedding, when I was only twelve years old. I could g9 on forever about the happy memories. Our family is so blessed. I can only imagine what an indescribable loss this is for you. My thoughts and prayers are with you. And of course the rest of his family as well. I can imagine, he must have had a gazillion friends!! Just keep thinking of the happy times and let God carry you the rest of the way. I do love you so very much. Lots of love always, Chris

Paul & I & his wonderful wife Marcia met at St.Peters Church on Bathurst St & remained friends for quite sometime! He welcomed me as informal barman at their Christmas Soiree Parties on Lytton Blvd, where many stories were told and Christmas Carols enjoyed.
Paul lived an adventurous geological life & had not fate intervened he would have become a pioneer professional hockey player.
He & Marcia were patrons of the classical music arts & they often enjoyed outdoor concerts at Ontario Place!
Paul claimed that he was a direct descendant of one of the last gaelic kings of the province of Leinster in Ireland & he kept his Irish Canadian heritage & friends close.
His wit, kindness and yarns will be sorely missed by all who knew him away from his geological world! May the road to heaven rise with you Paul & we are all in your debt for your way of living & your wit! Thank you Marcia and Kavanagh family for sharing Paul with us!

Marcia,
Very sorry to hear the news. I have very, very fond memories of Paul and his antics at the farm. Blessing Brian's pond with orange crush followed by the belly flop into said pond immediately comes to mind. Or what about the martini tester? Im sure Big Al is waiting for him and they will continue their interrupted friendship. In short, he was just a good guy and even though it has been several years since I have seen him I think of him a lot.
Respectively,
Buck Orr
