I have SO enjoyed Paul´s books over the years. Have re-read them more than twice sometimes. Such sublime wit and such an understanding of history, of people and the conditions of survival, life and death. I miss his great talent of shining the light on truths and TRUTH. He must´ve been a joy to know and have as a friend or relative in person. Condolences to those who loved him.

I knew Paul as a professor at York University (Toronto) in the 1980's and only learned of his passing today. The clarity of his teaching and his writing were admirable. His advice, guidance and pragmatic approach were invaluable.

I am feeling profoundly sad because I only just learned this morning that Paul had passed away in 2019. He was and still remains to this day my favourite author. I've ready all of his works multiple times each. The really good die far too young.

Paul was an honest and brave man who could write like an angel--fiction and non-fiction. He provided a platform for the voiceless.

What a great writer! One could only wish to be so articulate, so funny , so intelligent and so on the 'right side of history". Paul's book 'A War Against Truth' is absolutely brilliant. A masterpiece. Noam Chomsky describes it as "impossible to put down"....I concur. His death is a real loss for us all. I will remember him fondly! Love to his family.

His books were an inspiration to me, especially, Empire of the Soul, which opened up a spiritual quest for me. I loved his email blogs and will miss his brilliant mind. Love to his family and close friends. Deborah Goouch
