Peter CADEAU Obituary



(NOVEMBER 12, 1936 APRIL 10, 2010) PETER ANTHONY CADEAU Peter died peacefully in his sleep on April 10, 2010, surrounded by his loving family at St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto. Born in Hamilton, Ontario, November 12, 1936, Peter attended Burlington High School, Royal Military College and McMaster-University, graduating with a BA in Economics and Political Science. After working as President of the Junior Liberals and working with Lester B. Pearson of the Liberal Party, he built a successful practice as an Investment Advisor in Toronto. A Canadian Track & Field Champion, voracious reader with a deep love of History, recreational Pilot, air show enthusiast, and world traveler, Peter brought friends and family together to talk, laugh, play and love. Peter is sur vived by Ellen Cadeau who referred to him as 'Sweet P', his wife of 16 years; his sons Robert (wife Narinder and grand daughters Isabelle, Gracie, and Elise); Peter; David (wife Lisa and grandson Hudson); Lianne (Samantha, Stacey, Stephanie, Sophie); Linda, her husband J.P . (Joseph, Claire); and Laura, her husband Colin (Emma and Abby). Friends may call at the TRULL 'NORTH TORONTO' FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 2704 Yonge Street, (5 blocks south of Lawrence Ave.) Monday and Tuesday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday April 14th at 11am. If desired in memoriam donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation in memory of Peter A. Cadeau.
