Peacefully, at London Health Sciences Centre, Westminster Campus on Wednesday, August 23, 2000, Dr. Peter Edwin Currie of London. Beloved husband of Dillys and dear father of Susan Currie and her husband David Paterson of Kelowna, B.C., Paul Currie and Barbara Annis, and Lois Currie Johnston and her husband Craig, all of Toronto. Predeceased by his daughter Sandra Currie. Also missed by step-children Carol Luk of Vancouver, B.C., Grace Luk, and Joseph Luk, both of Toronto. Survived by his brother Dr. F.V. (Bob) Currie and his wife Kiss, seven grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held in the Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North (2 blocks north of Oxford Street) on Friday, August 25th, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., where the Memorial Service will be conducted on Saturday, August 26, 2000 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the London Regional Cancer Center. Dr. Currie will be deeply missed by his patients and all who knew him. Many heartfelt thanks to the doctors and staff of the Westminster Campus for their care and support.
