Peter and I in 1997 in Chungli Taiwan. We always kept in touch and as Mike remarked we were on the same wavelength. I wish I could tune to that wavelength again. I'm almost looking forward to the possibility. Pete. Goodbye.

I can´t believe he´s gone. He was as cool as they come. Great sense of humor and a depth and sincerity rarely seen. We met at boarding school in the early 80´s (TCS) and tree planted with him during summer break from University. For many years now i have visited him in the summers when I would come to the island for sailing trips. Peter would take pictures as i sailed out into the North Channel. Our adventurous spirits connected. More recently we talked about colloborating on a novel about the trials and tribulations of being at an "old school" boarding school. I will dearly miss him.

So sad Peter is gone. He was a larger than life pal of mine. So much fun at Queens engaging in Plan A (to steal something i.e. a pitcher of beer) Plan T (chasing girls) and of course Plan W.
I had a nice text exchange with Pete in his last days.
So sorry I did not realize Peter was sick. In particular this
Is close to home as my wife Tara also suffers from Scleroderma. We will certainly have some harder days coming as she also has a version not limited to below the knees and elbows.
All the best to Mike and Sue. Have not seen you in many years, but I know how close all of you were.
All the best my brother. Rest in peace Higgy. John Marley

Pete lived a big, vivid, extraordinary life. Memories of Queen's are bigger and more vivid with him in them. We kept in touch through the years and a couple summers ago I drank wine with him by the water on Manitoulin. Fittingly, it was a big, bright, sunny day. To all the family - and especially to Mike (whom I've not seen in years) - I am so very sorry to learn this saddest news.

I am so sorry to hear this news and my condolences to the Family and Mike.

I first met Mike and Peter at Camp Hollyburn when we were young and later crossed paths again at NTCI.

I understand Peter´s love for Manitoulin as I lived in Wawa and Sault Ste. Marie.

I am sorry I have lost touch and wish when I was in Gore Bay, I had reached out!

Again, sincerest condolences.
